Join us for a special series of naturalist programs in celebration of our new outdoor amphitheater. Each evening program will feature a naturalist presentation followed by a campfire and s/mores.

September 7 :  Professor Owlbert Eyeshine


Springbrook Nature Center Director, Mike Maher, presents the wacky and always entertaining Professor Owlbert Eyeshine. With amazing images, fun props and plenty of audience participation you will learn about the adaptations of nocturnal animals. It will be a real hoot!

September 21 :  Mad Science


See a series of experiments that change, smoke and spurt! Watch Liquid change into a rainbow of colors.  The Mad Scientist mixes up a gooey, foaming paste and an eerie smoking genie... in an ordinary water bottle. 

September 28 :  The French Voyageur & MN Fur Trade


Join us for a trip back in time to the days of the French Voyageurs and the Minnesota Fur Trade with historical re-enactorm, Arn Kind. There will be plenty of amazing artifacts, fascinating stories and audience participation. This presentation is made possible by the Nee Family and Magenic in honor of Kay Bonner Nee and William Nee.
