Zumba Gold 


This is a great class for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class.The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography.Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered! Classes held at the Fridley Community Center.

Tabata 


There are countless workout styles you've probably heard about over the years, and all of them are meant to help you reach your fitness goals. Tabata training is a high-intensity interval training(HIIT) workout, featuring exercises that last four minutes. 8 rounds of 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest. Please bring a mat and one dumbbell weight to class. Fridley Community Center: Dance Floor 6085 7th St NE

Kettlebell/ Bodyweight Class 


Looking to shed a few unwanted pounds? This class combines cardio and strength training in one quick workout. Such exercises improve core strength for better posture and improved athletic performance. Must know proper technique for Kettlebell swing; this will be taught week one. Classes are held at Moore Than Dance Studio located at 1220 E. Moore Lake Drive.

BOGO Tae Kwon DO

Tae Kwon Do uses the hands and feet without weapons. Instructor Seybold’s
goal with this program is to share the values and knowledge gained through training with those in the community who wish to try and grow from their
experiences. This class is open to teens and adults of all fitness levels, and will focus on encouraging each
student’s physical and mental growth. Wednesday classes will be held in the Fridley Community Center gym, 6085 7th Street NE, and Saturday classes
will be held in the Hayes Elementary School gym, 615 Mississippi St NE.

Beginning T'ai Chi Chih

 
T’ai Chi Chih consists of soft, simple movements that naturally circulate and balance the intrinsic energy, or Chi. T’ai Chi Chih is not a Martial Art. This practice consists of 19 moves and one pose. Benefits include mindfulness, joy, increased energy, improvement of balance, decreased anxiety, and 
more. Classes will be held at Fridley Community Center, lower level.

Join us in the newly remodeled Springbrook Nature Center, 100 -85th Ave NW, where you can participate in a gentle flow yoga class while looking out the floor ceiling windows at the serene view of forests,prairies,and wetlands.This is a great way to relieve stress and gain flexibility.
