The City of Fridley will be starting preliminary work on utilities in the Plymouth Neighborhood starting the week of March 14. This work will include repairs to sanitary sewer on 2nd Street and 2 1/2 Streets.
Water main work will start the week of March 14th on 49th Avenue, and on 47th Avenue at Main Street. We are completing this work in advance of the full project, and expect these tasks to be completed before the end of March.
Centerpoint Energy is also preparing to start the replacement of gas main in this area the first week of April which will continue through Memorial Day.
Work on the full 2016 Street Improvement Project is expected to start after Memorial Day. The City will send additional notices as schedules for this project are confirmed. Feel free to call the Engineering Division if you have any questions.
