Enjoy three miles of hiking trails through the forest, prairie, savannah and wetland habitats, including floating boardwalks. Quiet places to meditate include trail benches, four pond view overlooks kiosks andMeditation Garden. Inside the Interpretive Center, you can get a close-up look at live snakes, frogs, fish and more!  Trail map (PDF)

Park policies


The following are prohibited:   
  • Dogs and other pets. 
  • Picking or collecting of any plants, wildflowers, or animals.  
  • Feeding of wildlife, especially bread to ducks and geese.
  • Alcoholic beverages.
