Crisis Nursery

Being a parent isn't easy. When there's a crisis, you need some help. Families today don't always have a support system for help during difficult times. Children's Home Crisis Nursery is here for you. They can take care of the kids, ages 0-12, when you need a break or need someone to talk to. The Crisis Nursery is a voluntary, non-judgmental and confidential organization that responds immediately to parents in crisis.

A Crisis can be many things such as a parental conflict, sudden illness, housing problems, or any situation that causes stress for parents that could be harmful to a child. The Crisis Nursery has counselors to help you work out he problems you face. They will provide you with the resources to strengthen your family. They are privately run and not part of the county social service system. Their services are provided free of charge.

Parents and legal guardians are the only ones who can arrange for their children to stay with the Children's Home Crisis Nursery. Staff tells no one where the children are unless there are signs of abuse or neglect.

The 24 hour crisis helpline is 763-785-9222.
