The Northern Star Juvenile Diversion & Referral Program educates, motivates and supports families and youth, males and females--ages 13-17, who are on the verge of falling into the ills of society. The program provides 5 weeks (2 hours per week) of life-changing classes, as well as community service opportunities, in order to restore pride and hope and get youth back on the right track. The Fridley Police Department has partnered with Northern Star since 2007.
