clubsAre you interested in joining a Card Club or a  Golf League?  Do you want to watch a movie with friends?  We offer all these and more!

Cards & Fun

We have weekly card groups including Bridge, 500, Whist, Cribbage, and Hand n' Foot. It's a great way to meet new friends and have fun.

Book Club

A reading and discussion group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Members meet on a monthly basis to discuss current books and authors. Group makes book selections based on interests. Participants are not required to read all selections to participate.

Video Theater

Tuesdays     1:00 p.m.
Join us for a movie on Tuesday afternoons. We will show classic films as well as new releases. A schedule will appear in the monthly Senior News .

Hardanger Club

Mondays     9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Group meets each Monday morning at the Community Center. Participants stitch together sharing patterns, ideas and stitch techniques. Participants need a basic knowledge of Hardanger skills.

Campaign of Cheer

Mondays      8:30 a.m.
The Campaign of Cheer meets every Monday at FCC. This volunteer group makes wheelchair/walker caddies, lap robes, and blankets for children at the Ronald McDonald House and battered women's shelter. New members are always welcome.

Smorgasbord Quilters

Fridays     9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Come stitch, share patterns, friendship and good conversation. Some educational workshops are also being discussed, as well as field trips to local quilt shows, workshops, and shopping sprees. Group meets each Friday morning at the Fridley Community Center.

Casino Trips

The Fridley Senior Program sponsors a casino trip on the first Wednesday of each month to either Hinckley or St. Croix. We offer a pick-up at Village Green and Norwood Square - as well as the Fridley Community Center. There is a $5 fee; however, participants will receive $5 in coins at the casino. Registrations can be made by stopping by the Senior Program office.

Northern Lights Violet Club

Tuesdays      11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Join the Northern Lights African Violet Club for their monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. Members talk about their plants and share information about re-potting techniques, fertilizer, soils and pests. For more information call the Senior Program (763-502-5150) or current members at 763-574-1998 or 763-712-5649. Members are encouraged to pack a bag lunch. There is no fee to participate.
