2012 Street Rehabilitation Project: City of Fridley Project No. ST2012-01

Due to the warm weather, the utility companies have requested to begin their work earlier than previous years.

Monday, March 26 , Center Point energy and their subcontractors will start work upgrading gas services and mainlines in the 2012 Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation project area. This is not expected to require in any street closures, but travel through the area may be slower due to the activity. This work generally consists of boring equipment operating at 10’ by 10’ pits located just behind the curb and gutter at several locations on each block.

The actual street reconstruction work is expected to begin at the end of May. We will send updates as work progresses or if conditions change.
