The City of Fridley uses RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to allow you to subscribe to pages on our website.  RSS is a method of publishing frequently updated information in a standardized format that can be monitored by "RSS readers" or "feed aggregators" such as Google Reader.

RSS feeds benefit the City by letting us publish content and disseminate changes automatically.  It benefits you by allowing you to subscribe to timely updates regarding the topics you are concerned about.

You can subscribe to updates to many City of Fridley pages by clicking on the  feediconSubscribe to this page link at the bottom of the page.  Doing so will initiate the subscription process in your RSS reader.  After you have subscribed, your RSS reader will check your subscribed pages regularly and notify you of changes.

Not all pages on our site have RSS feeds available - only those that change often, such as blogs and topic portal pages.  Individual articles, which rarely change, do not have feeds available on our site.

For more information about RSS and RSS readers, we suggest you visit the Wikipedia articles on RSS and on feed aggregators.  You may also wish to visit the Google Reader homepage for information about setting up an account.
