Joins us for the 2023 '49er Days celebration from June 15-17! The parade will take place on Thursday evening along with pre-parade activities at Commons Park. Friendly Chevrolet will host a car show that is free to spectators on Friday night and activities will continue at Commons Park on Saturday.

Pre-Parade Party

Commons Park | Thursday, June 15 from 4-7 p.m.
Join Fridley Parks & Recreation and a variety of Fridley organizations and businesses for a 49er Pre-Parade Party! Play carnival games, try out all of the inflatable obstacles, slides, and bouncers, and dance your heart out with our DJ!  Vendors and food trucks (4 p.m. -9:00 p.m.) will also be present.

The Fridley Fun Run begins at 6:25 p.m. No pre-registration, register on-site. Meet at St. Phillips Church (6180 MN-65, Fridley, MN 55432).  Run on the parade route in front of the Fridley '49er Days Parade, then watch the parade when you finish. 

'49er Days Food Trucks at Commons Park:

  • La Cochinita - Bringing the flavors of Southern Mexico to Minnesota and serving food from scratch with love.
  • Youniverse Foodie - Tastiest waffles in the Youniverse! 
  • Pizza Karma - Pizza with the highest quality ingredients and flavors from around the world on signature Tandoor-fired crust.
  • Café Cairo - A Greek and Egyptian food truck that is Specialized in Mediterranean Cuisine Such as Gyros, Falafel, Chicken Shawarma and more.
  • Flamingos Ice Cream - A local artisan ice cream and treats shop.
  • Fathouse BBQ and Qabmib - Slow Smoked BBQ Classics as well as great new twisted BBQ along with Asian dishes. 

Fridley Lions '49er Parade 

Route starts at the corner of 61st Avenue and 7th Street | Thursday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m.
The '49er Days Parade will be held rain or shine on Thursday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m.

We are now accepting parade entry forms on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to submit an application to enter the parade is May 15, 2023 and limited to 100 units. View parade entry forms.

View parade road closures and neighborhood entrances and exits

  • The Parade begins at the corner of 7th Street and 61st Avenue and travels north to Mississippi Street, then travels East to Able Street and then South on Able Street. 
  • The parade ends at West Moore Lake Drive near the Fridley Middle School. 
  • Neighborhood exits are located at Rice Creek Terrace, 68th Avenue, Brookview Drive, 63rd Avenue and at the corner of Mississippi and 7th Street.
