NOTICE OF FILING FOR 2018 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
CITY OF FRIDLEY
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.33, that a general election will be held in Fridley, Minnesota, Tuesday November 6, 2018 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices listed below. The filing period for these offices begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Note: Filing documents may be executed on May 28, 2018, however, City offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Candidates for these offices must file with the City Clerk, Fridley Municipal Center, 6431 University Avenue NE, Fridley, Minnesota, 55432, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. At the time of filing, a Nomination Petition (completed during the filing period) and a $10.00 filing fee is required. A Nomination Petition and candidate information may be obtained from the City Clerk's office at 763-572-3523 or online at www.fridleymn.gov. If a candidate wishes to withdraw, the Notice of Withdrawal must be received by the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018.
