Notice of Filing for 2022 Municipal Election
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 204B.33, that a General Election will be held in Fridley, Minnesota on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices of Councilmember Ward 1, Councilmember Ward 2, and Councilmember Ward 3.
The filing period for these offices begins at 8:00 a.m. on May 17, 2022 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on May 31, 2022. In observance of Memorial Day, City offices will be closed May 30, 2022. Candidates for these offices must file with the City Clerk at the Fridley Civic Campus, 7071 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, Minnesota, 55432.
A Nomination Petition and candidate information may be obtained from the City’s website at www.fridleymn.gov/elections, in person at 7071 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, Minnesota, 55432 or by calling the City Clerk at 763-573-3523. If a candidate wishes to withdraw, the Notice of Withdrawal must be received by the City Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2022.
