A map tool has been completed by our GIS staff which allows approximate comparisons of old 100-year flood boundaries directly to the new FEMA map boundaries that are proposed to be adopted in the above text amendment.
We encourage all property owners near boundaries of flood zones to review their property by use of this mapping tool, which will show approximate changes in flood boundaries and categories.
The text amendment is scheduled for a second reading at the City Council meeting on November 23rd at 7:00 pm.
