[ARCHIVED] Now Open: Commons Park Ice Rink & Warming House

Family Ice Skating at Commons Park

It has been a tough winter for outdoor ice rinks in the Twin Cities, but we are pleased to announce that the ice rinks and warming house and Fridley's Commons Park are open! There is a great sledding hill there, too!

Get out and enjoy winter! Weather permitting, we hope to keep the ice rinks open through mid-February.

Commons Park is located at 555 61st Ave NE.
The warming house and general rink is open weekday evenings from 4-9 p.m. and weekends from 12 - 9 p.m.
Outdoor bathroom facilities are available.

The Commons Park hockey rink is reserved Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoon for boot hockey and broomball leagues. (This rink is separate from the General Rink.)

Grab your skates and come on out! Or bring a sled! Commons Park also offers an awesome sledding hill!

And don't miss Winterfest on Saturday, January 23rd from Noon - 3 p.m.
Fun for the whole family and your chance to win $100 in our annual medallion hunt!
