[ARCHIVED] Venue Change for Next EQEC Meeting

Fridley's Environmental Quality and Energy Commission Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, will now be held at Woodcrest Elementary School, 880 Osborne Road. This change is to allow Commissioners to attend the Osborne Road Corridor Study.

Anoka County will be hosting a public informational open house on Tuesday, February 9 from 7-9 p.m. at Woodcrest Elementary School. You are invited to the open house and encouraged to share feedback on potential improvements to the one mile segment of Osborne Road from University Avenue to Hwy 65. Potential improvement ideas include converting the roadway to a three-lane section (one travel lane in each direction plus a continuous center-turn lane), as well as intersection traffic control applications such as roundabouts.

The Fridley EQEC will change their meeting venue to this location in order to attend the open house during their meeting.

Questions on the EQEC meeting agenda or venue change can be directed to Kay Qualley at (763) 572-3594.

Questions on the Osborne Road improvements or the open house can be directed to Jack Forslund at (763) 862-4230.
