Street milling is scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday, 8/16-8/17, in the North Park Neighborhood, weather permitting. All cars must be off the street before 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 8/16. Paving is scheduled for Monday, 8/21 and Tuesday, 8/22.
Affected Streets
This notice affects Hillwind Road, Hackmann Avenue, Lynde Drive, Polk Street, Hathaway Lane, Regis Drive, Regis Trail, and Fillmore Street.
Street Milling
The contractor is scheduled to mill the streets Wednesday, August 16th and Thursday, August 17th. As one of the final phases, it includes removing the top 2‐inches of existing asphalt with a
large milling machine. Please do not park on the street on these days. Have all cars off the street prior to Wednesday, August 16th, 7:00 AM. Note poor weather during the week may delay the start date, so the schedule will be pushed back accordingly.
Street Paving
Paving is scheduled for Monday, August 21st and Tuesday, August 22nd. Cars cannot be parked on the street during this work. Please have all cars off of the street prior to Monday, August
21st, 7:00 AM. There will be times when paving is underway that you will not have immediate access to either your street or driveway. Residents should plan to allow extra time to enter and
exit the neighborhood via alternate routes during paving work. The contractor will work to get residents access to their driveways during the milling and paving operations. As noted, the schedule above is weather dependent. Construction activities will be shifted back given any poor weather conditions in the coming week. In regard to boulevard restoration, the City encourages residents to water their newly restored lawn when necessary to ensure healthy re‐establishment. Please note some residents are receiving these notices as it relates to construction traffic and accessing your street. Please remember to be safe and drive cautiously wherever you see construction workers, equipment and warning signs.
