Is there a charge for false alarms?
The user of an alarm system (residential or business) that reports more than 5 false alarms to the city in a single calendar year (and who has received notice of such false alarms), will be charged a fee as follows: For the 6th false alarm, a $50 fine, and each subsequent false alarm, an additional, cumulative $25 fine.
